Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, received a high-level delegation from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the General Command Headquarters. The delegation was led by Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, as part of the joint coordination and cooperation between the General Command of the Libyan Armed Forces and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
An official reception ceremony was held, where the delegation was welcomed by General Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
During the visit, a bilateral discussion session was held in the presence of General Khaled Haftar, Chief of the General Staff, to discuss cooperation prospects and strengthen the strategic partnership between the two sides. The talks focused particularly on training, the exchange of expertise, and enhancing the combat capabilities of the Libyan Armed Forces.
The Commander-in-Chief conveyed his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, praising the deep brotherly relations and the enduring historical ties that unite the two brotherly nations.
