The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, conducted an inspection tour of several reconstruction and development projects in Benghazi, accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government, Osama Hammad, and the Director General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, Engineer Belqasim Haftar.
The tour included an inspection of the final stages of maintenance and construction work at several colleges within the University of Benghazi, a visit to the Central Library to review ongoing outfitting operations, and a follow-up on the progress of the specialized 700-bed Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Pediatrics Hospital. Additionally, the tour covered bridge and road construction projects in the Juliana area, as well as maintenance and rehabilitation works at Al-Jalaa Hospital for Surgery and Accidents.
This tour is part of the Commander-in-Chief’s ongoing monitoring of reconstruction and development projects within Benghazi and his commitment to conducting on-site assessments of construction and outfitting works in their final stages.
