During his official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, along with several Pakistani government ministers.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commander-in-Chief, General Saddam Haftar, the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government, Dr. Osama Hammad, and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various fields, in addition to addressing regional and international issues of mutual concern.
For his part, the Commander-in-Chief expressed his pride and appreciation for the Pakistani Prime Minister and the friendly Pakistani people, noting the depth of the historical Libyan-Pakistani relations that have spanned decades of joint coordination.
He emphasized the importance of activating these relations to serve mutual interests and open broader horizons for cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
