Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Libya, Georgette Gagnon, held talks with the office staff of International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Benghazi to discuss “IOM’s vital life-saving protection and psychosocial support to vulnerable migrants in host communities,” according to Gagnon.
In a statement via Twitter on Sunday, Gagnon said she “witnessed hard-working IOM staff assisting migrants wishing to return home through IOM’s Voluntary Humanitarian Return programme”.
