Defense Ministry of the Government of National Unity (GNU) asked the Turkish ally at the Al-Watiya Airbase to reconnoiter the camps of General Osama Juwaili and those wanted in Zintan and other Western Mountain areas, all the way to Al-Aziziyah, A source at the Ministry told The Libya Update.
The Ministry awaiting instructions from Defense Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh to attack and liberate Zintan and the rest of the region soon, according to the source.
The attack will be on an alliance of militants led by Osama Juwaili, Haitham Al-Tajouri, Qaddour, Bouzriba, Ayoub Bouras, and others, the source pointed out.
The Turkish ally contributed by sending out its drones to survey the locations of the force in Zintan and Al-Aziziya, it added.
