Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), met on Monday with Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio to discuss the latest developments in Libya, according to a brief statement by the LNA.
The Italian chief diplomat made his fifth visit to Libya in a year yesterday, and held talks with senior officials in Tripoli and Benghazi.
