Tripoli – The Italian capital, Rome, will host an economic forum on July 9 titled “Misrata Free Zone: Africa’s Gateway for Italian Companies.” The event will bring together a wide range of economic institutions, business leaders, investors, and decision-makers from Libya and Italy.
According to the media office of the Misrata Free Zone, the forum will highlight the investment advantages offered by the zone, including a favorable business environment, advanced infrastructure, and a strategic commercial port. Its geographic location positions it as a main gateway to Libyan and African markets.
The event aims to strengthen economic cooperation between Libya and Italy. It will explore opportunities for investment partnerships in industry, logistics, trade, and supply chains, supporting investment flows and trade exchanges. The forum also seeks to reinforce the status of the Misrata Free Zone as a regional center for business and investment.
This initiative aligns with the zone’s strategy to expand its international network, attract quality investments, and establish its role as a strategic link between European and African markets.
