Libya records 15 new cases of COVID-19

Libya records 692 new cases, 10 deaths of COVID-19

The National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC) reported on Wednesday that 15 people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 8 percent of the infection rate. 34 people recovered in the same reporting period.

The total recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya have reached more than 500,000 since the start of the pandemic, while over 490,000 of which have recovered, according to the NCDC.

The virus has claimed the lives of 6,437 people in total. Over two million people received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while over one million were fully vaccinated with two doses.
