The National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC) has reported on Monday that 910 people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 17 percent of the infection rate. The NCDC said that 11 others died of the virus, while 1,226 have recovered during the same reporting period.
185 people are in “critical” condition, said the NCDC.
The total recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya have exceeded more than 337,000 since the start of the pandemic, while over 256,000 of which have recovered, according to the NCDC.
The virus has claimed the lives of 4,617 people in total. Over a million people received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while more than 194,000 were fully vaccinated with two doses.
