the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) Spokesman, Abdulla Bleihiq, said that the Cairo meetings between HoR and the High Council of State (HCS) are close to setting a working mechanism for the Constitutional Base Committee, adding that it is now working to narrow down the controversial points in the draft constitution.
Bleihiq added, in a press statement, that the treatments required to amend some controversial articles in the constitution had not yet crystallized at the meetings in Cairo, and no official statements were issued on the results that were reached, indicating that there was progress on some differences between the two delegations.
