Ali Mahmoud Hassan, the chairman of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), is fighting to overturn the international arrest warrant issued against him in January by the Belgian judiciary in the context of the Euroclear affair.
It is a case before the Belgian justice regarding the management of the institution’s funds deposited in the Euroclear Bank in Brussels, according to the French website Africa Intelligence.
