Libya’s Supreme Constitutional Court in Benghazi to Commence Judicial Work

Benghazi – The General Assembly of the Supreme Constitutional Court held its third meeting of 2025 at its headquarters in the city of Benghazi.

​During the meeting, the president and members of the Board of Commissioners were sworn in. Following the oath-taking ceremony, the assembly proceeded to discuss the remaining items on its agenda.

​At the conclusion of the meeting, the General Assembly announced its decision to commence the court’s judicial functions. This will begin with the examination of constitutional appeals that have been previously filed with the clerk’s office of the Supreme Constitutional Court.
