The General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, received on Monday in Benghazi, the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Andrew, and his accompanying delegation.
The two parties discussed the latest developments in Libyan and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, according to LNA Media Office.
During the meeting, Haftar stressed the LNA General Command’s support for the efforts of the United Nations mission to hold presidential and parliamentary elections to reach a stage of permanent stability in Libya.
Martin Andrew also praised LNA’s role in establishing security and stability in the country, stressing the position of the General Command in the political process in Libya.
