The head of Libya’s Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, chaired a meeting with Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, Interior Minister Imad Trabelsi, the Chief of Staff of western Libya’s military forces, Mohamed Haddad, and other military officials to discuss the security situation in the western region, especially along the coast and around the city of Zawiya, according to a statement by the council.
The officials also discussed the coordination mechanisms between the various security agencies and the review of measures and plans to preserve security, stability and safety of citizens.
