Minister of Local Governance in the government appointedby the House of Representatives, Sami Al-Dhaoui met today with representatives from the Chinese company CDG Green Building Industry Investment and Construction.
The meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters in the city of Benghazi, discussed the possibility of the Ministry of Local Governance contracting with the Chinese investment company. They explored establishing a number of projects in municipalities under the control of the Libyan government.
The Minister of Local Governance praised the work of the Chinese company, welcoming benefiting from Chinese expertise in reconstruction and building operations. He requested the company submit its paperwork for review and approval by the Libyan government.
In conclusion, the Minister of Local Governance emphasized the ministry’s commitment to supporting local companies. He stated that the ministry attaches importance to local companies, to train and develop them by leveraging the expertise of Chinese companies.
