The situation in the eastern city of Marj is “very calm” and no clashes took place recently, said the city’s chief of security on Tuesday.
In a press statement to The Libya Update, Colonel Wahbi Al-Rakh denied reports circulating on social media which alleged that intra-fighting erupted between forces of the Libyan National Army (LNA) in the city last night.
“I don’t know which Marj they are talking about,” Al-Rakh said. “The situation here is very calm”.
