Oil futures fell nearly one percent during the Asian session after jumping to their highest level since October 2014.
Brent crude futures for March delivery fell 0.71 percent to trade at $89.15 a barrel, after rising on Wednesday to more than $90 a barrel.
WTI crude oil futures contracts for March delivery fell 0.62 percent to trade at $86.61 a barrel, after rising to $87.8 a barrel.
