Officials in the National Unity Government headed by Abdel Hamid Dbeibah have used students of the Police Academy to fill seats for a youth forum attended by the Prime Minister in Tripoli.
Photos obtained by The Libya Update showed Police Academy students queued outside the Tripoli Football Stadium, dressed in civilian clothes, to fill the hall where Dbeibah delivers his speech today at the founding ceremony of the National Youth Council, a government organization that was already established during the Gaddafi era before the 2011 Uprising.
Meanwhile, an armed group from Misurata city took responsibility of securing the Stadium and refused the presence of any other armed group from Tripoli. The group also supervised the recruitment and organization of Police Academy students.
