Benghazi – A number of members of the House of Representatives affirmed on Wednesday their full support for the programs and initiatives of the Libyan Center for Local Cultures during an inspection visit to the center’s headquarters.
The delegation included Miftah Al-Shaeri, Abdul Nasser Al-Naas, and Mohammed Douma. They held a meeting with the center’s management to discuss cultural affairs and ways to enhance the center’s role in establishing national identity and preserving cultural diversity in Libya.
The meeting also explored prospects for joint cooperation between the center and legislative institutions to promote the public interest and support stability and development in the country.
The representatives praised the vital role played by the center in highlighting local cultural heritage, stressing their support for the center’s efforts in implementing its various programs.
For his part, the center’s Director-General, Munther Al-Warfali, expressed his appreciation for the visit by the members of the House of Representatives, voicing his hope for continued communication and cooperation to serve the nation and its citizens.
