Sirt – The Digital Maturity Committee at the University of Sirt held a meeting led by University President Professor Suleiman Al-Shater, with the heads of subcommittees in attendance. The committee reviewed periodic reports and progress rates for digital transformation programs.
The meeting discussed the university’s digital transformation project and the technical and executive requirements needed for full implementation. This comes as part of the national plans by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to modernize and develop the academic sector.
These efforts also follow ongoing cooperation with the Association of Arab Scientific Research Councils and the Association of Arab Universities. The aim is to enhance the university’s educational and research standards and qualify it for “Fifth Generation University” status.
