Member, and former head, of the High State Council (HSC), Abdul Rahman al-Sweihli, said he will not accept ballot boxes if they bring dictatorship. The ballot box will only be a path to consolidating the democratic state of Libya for the sake of all the blood that was spilled in 2011 and 4.4.2019, he added.
Al-Sweihli indicated in a Facebook post that he would not accept the ballot box be an opportunity to undermine democracy and return to dictatorship.
He continued, “There is no referendum on freedom, and elections are only for those who believe in democracy and its requirements.”
