Ankara – Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler met today with Major General Abdulsalam Al-Zoubi. Al-Zoubi serves as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense for the Government of National Unity. The meeting took place at the Turkish Ministry of Defense headquarters in Ankara.
The officials discussed ways to strengthen defense cooperation. They focused on training and capacity building programs. These efforts align with existing agreements between the two countries.
The talks also covered the exchange of technical expertise. Both parties aimed to improve institutional coordination between their ministries. They reviewed current cooperation to serve mutual interests.
According to the “Hakometna” platform, both sides emphasized the importance of continued consultation. They agreed this coordination supports regional stability. The meeting also aimed to bolster military institutional capabilities through official legal frameworks.
