Wadi Al-Shati University Discusses Strengthening Investment Cooperation

Wadi Al-Shati – The University of Wadi Al-Shati received Salah Ali Al-Salihin, director of the southern branch of the General Authority for Investment Promotion and Privatization Affairs, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation in economic and development fields.

The meeting took place in the office of University President Nasser Mansour Abu Hamoud, with the university’s vice president for academic affairs, Khalid Abubakr Al-Ghanai, also in attendance. The talks aimed to strengthen the university’s ties with national institutions and build partnerships within the community.

Both sides discussed ways to use the university’s scientific and research capabilities to support the investment environment. This includes preparing scientific studies and consultations, as well as implementing training programs to help improve the skills of those working in economic and investment sectors.

The meeting also covered potential cooperation in organizing seminars, workshops, and scientific events to promote a culture of investment and encourage development initiatives. This would confirm the university’s role as an active partner in supporting sustainable development plans and community service.

Al-Salihin praised the university’s academic staff and scientific expertise. He stressed the importance of cooperating with higher education institutions as essential sources of knowledge for conducting studies, building capacity, and supporting investment and development projects.
