2500 Egyptian workers will arrive in Libya after Ramadan in order to start working on collaborative projects between the Libyan government and several Egyptian companies, Libyan Labor Minister Ali Al-Abed announced on Sunday.
“I met with the Egyptian Minister of Labour Force on Thursday to review his ministry’s work plan to send workers to Libya, the obstacles they face, and solutions for them,” Al-Abed told Libyan press.
“It was also agreed to facilitate procedures for sending Egyptian workers who wish to travel to Libya,” he said. “Now, procedures related to the workers, such as providing accommodation and ensuring a decent life for them in Libya, are being completed”.
