Al-Tamimi – A force from the Joint Security Room and the Anti-Illegal Migration Agency carried out a specific operation at dawn today, Tuesday, in the Al-Tamimi area on the outskirts of Tobruk in eastern Libya, which resulted in the seizure of a rudimentary factory for manufacturing boats and a boat ready to sail.
During the operation, 67 illegal immigrants of Egyptian, Sudanese, Eritrean, and Somali nationalities, including a woman, were arrested. They were hiding in difficult humanitarian conditions inside a barn.
The force also found several houses used to shelter immigrants and another boat hidden near the desert road, which was destroyed on site.
