The African Union announced that it “intends to hold an inclusive conference for reconciliation, and the Libyans themselves will determine the agenda under African auspices,” according to AU official Wahida al-Ayari.
Al-Ayari told Saudi-owned newspaper Asharq al-Awsat that “the conference will represent a complementary path in case of failure of the current political path “.
