Al-Brega Increases Diesel Allocations for West Tripoli Power Plant to 120 Million Liters

The Brega Petroleum Marketing Company has increased the diesel allocation for the West Tripoli power station from 80 million liters to 120 million liters for July. Company spokesperson Ahmed Al-Maslati said the supply of diesel to power stations is continuing as planned. He told Libya Al-Ahrar TV that this increase was made in response to requests from the General Electricity Company and in line with instructions from the National Oil Corporation’s supply program.

Al-Maslati added that the diesel tanker “ALLEGRA” arrived at the Zawiya oil port carrying more than 32,000 metric tons of diesel. Meanwhile, unloading of a similar shipment from the tanker “ZEFIREA” is underway at Tobruk port. Both shipments will support power generation plants.

He also noted that four million liters of diesel were delivered to the Zawiya oil depot by the Zawiya Oil Refining Company and then transported by truck to stations in West Tripoli, Double Zawiya, Al-Rweiss, Al-Jabal Al-Gharbi, and Al-Zahraa.

Al-Maslati stressed that Brega teams are working to ensure uninterrupted fuel delivery to power stations to help stabilize the national grid and maintain power generation.
