Al-Dughari: Ongoing Efforts to Hold a Full Quorum House of Representatives Session and Calls to Convene It in Benghazi

House of Representatives proceeds with implementing August 30 agreement as deadline for its approval nears without High Council of State vote

Benghazi – Member of the House of Representatives Khalifa Al-Dughari said that no date has been set yet for the next parliamentary session by the boycotting members. Al-Dughari told Fawasel platform that the boycotting members insist on holding the next session in Benghazi. He explained that ongoing communication and dialogue continues with parliamentary blocs, the boycotting members, and the parties that have intervened to prevent the session. Al-Dughari added that these efforts aim to hold a fully attended session, with reforms to the internal bylaws included on the agenda.
