Al-Khafaifi: Serving the nation and citizens is our priority according to directives from the General Command

Benghazi – Major General Salah Mahmoud Al-Khafeefi, head of the Anti-Illegal Migration Agency, said the agency follows directives from the General Command and prioritizes serving the nation and its citizens.

During a meeting with the head of the Al-Fuwaihat municipal council, several community leaders, and elders from the area, Al-Khafeefi emphasized the agency’s full readiness to implement orders from the Deputy Commander. These include strengthening cooperation with municipalities and relevant bodies to organize the status of migrants according to current laws and official procedures.

He noted that the current phase requires collaboration among all national institutions and the local community to enhance security and stability and safeguard the public interest. He stressed the importance of enforcing the law in ways that serve the country and protect everyone’s rights.

Al-Khafeefi and the visiting delegation discussed citizens’ needs, ways to boost cooperation, and challenges facing residents in Benghazi’s neighborhoods. The talks aimed to implement the General Command’s directives and promote direct communication with all sections of society.

He also highlighted the importance of such meetings in building communication and cooperation between state institutions and the local community, and in gathering feedback and proposals to improve services and address ongoing challenges.

The attendees praised the role of the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces and security agencies for their efforts to strengthen security and stability and protect the nation and its people across cities and regions.
