Khaled Al-Mishri, Chairman of the High Council of State, held a meeting on Thursday with Foreign Minister Najla Mangoush to discuss to discuss “the latest developments in the political process and the constitutional referendum”, according to a statement by the foreign ministry.
The two leaders agreed upon “the importance of activating the constitutional process and the referendum on the draft constitution before any electoral process.”
Mangoush praised the role of the council and its work on pushing for the referendum on the constitution, reads the statement.
