Benghazi – The Benghazi Football Sub-Federation held a special lecture. It took place last Saturday evening. The lecture was for observer referees. They were appointed by the General Referees Committee. This committee is part of the Libyan Football Federation.
Former international referee Mohamed Al-Zalawi delivered the lecture. Several referees attended the session. It was held in the Berenice Hotel hall. The lecture lasted approximately two hours. It focused on the observers’ important role.
This role is crucial during and after matches. It also covered preparing and writing reports correctly. International referee Mohamed Al-Zalawi spoke to the Libyan News Agency. He stated that such lectures are highly beneficial. They help observer referees.
They improve the preparation of their final reports. Al-Zalawi added that the Referees Committee has a key mission. Its goal is to communicate all new developments. This includes updates in international football law. This ensures observers are fully informed.
