Member of Parliament Saeed Amghib said that the outcomes of the “4+4” meetings will be a real test of the parties’ seriousness. He stressed that Libyans are waiting for actionable decisions that will pave the way for elections.
Amghib told Al-Massar TV that international guarantees and clear implementation mechanisms are key to the meetings’ success. He noted that general statements will not resolve the current political deadlock.
He added that the success of Tuesday’s meeting could represent a step forward on the path to a political solution.
