Tripoli – The Libyan University Handball Team will play in the final match of the World University Handball Championship tomorrow. The Libyan team will face Kazakhstan, marking a significant athletic achievement that reflects their outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
The Libyan University team excelled during the 53rd edition of the international championship held in Teramo, Italy, securing four consecutive victories. They began their campaign with a strong start, defeating Italy 27-15. They continued their impressive run with a 29-12 win over South Africa.
The team went on to achieve a dominant victory against Poland, 24-9, followed by another win over Belgium, 25-15. These results have demonstrated the team’s strength and established their remarkable presence in the competition.
