Tripoli – The Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Unit in Zliten announced the arrest of several suspects following a security operation targeting drug trafficking and distribution. The arrests resulted from field investigations indicating that an individual was selling narcotic substances.
Officers launched a detailed and direct surveillance operation, which led to the apprehension of the main suspect and others caught in possession of drugs during a sale. Police also seized a firearm at the scene. The suspects have been referred to the competent Public Prosecution for further investigation.
