Prime Minister Fathi Bashagha and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, arrived in Sirte yesterday ahead of a joint meeting on Tuesday.
Set to take place at a parliamentary hall in the city, the meeting will reportedly focus on “the draft budget, the unified wage plan and will clarify various issues relating to Bashagha’s government itself,” Libyan member of parliament Abdel Moneim Al-Urfi told Italian news agency Nova on Monday.
Saleh invited to the meeting a number of key Libyan parties, including the board of directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and the board of directors of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL). He also invited representatives of Libya’s Authority of the Administrative Control, the Audit Office and a number of House committees.
