Prime Minister-designate Fathi Bashagha, has arrived in Cairo to hold consultations on the situation in Libya, Italian news agency Nova reported on Wednesday.
Citing unnamed sources, Nova said that Bashagha is scheduled to meet with U.S. Special Envoy and Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, and senior Egyptian officials, including Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas Kamel.
According to Nova, the talks are aimed at finding a solution to the crisis in Libya while preventing Russia from increasing its influence in the country.
