Chairman of the Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC), Farhat bengdara, has appointed Mohamed al-Fantari as chairman of Sirte Oil and Gas Company.
According to Bengdara’s decree, obtained by the Libya Update, former chairman Abdalla Shweiki was dismissed.
Last June, outgoing Prime Minister Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba named a new board of directors for the National Oil Corporation headed by Farhat Bengdara, to succeed the previous board headed by Mustafa Sanalla.
