Benghazi Education Authority Announces Its Schools Are Ready for the International Digital Talent Forum

Benghazi – The Benghazi Education Directorate announced that the city’s schools are ready to participate in the International Digital Forum, scheduled to take place from July 27 to 29, 2027. The event is sponsored by Dr. Oqba Khalifa Haftar, head of the Ru’ya Foundation for Digital Economic Development and Strategic Studies.

Education Director Bel’eid Al-Warfali told the Libyan News Agency that Benghazi’s schools will participate in partnership with the Ru’ya Foundation, according to a cooperation agreement between the two sides. He emphasized that the forum serves as an international platform to celebrate talent, innovation, and digital transformation, and offers new opportunities for outstanding students.

Al-Warfali said supporting gifted students is a national responsibility and an investment in their potential. He highlighted that Benghazi’s schools are home to creative young minds capable of excelling in scientific and technical fields.

The forum’s activities will include the Ru’ya Innovation, Creativity, Digital Transformation, and Robotics Championship. Outstanding and inventive students from Benghazi schools will take part.

Specialized committees have begun registering students who wish to participate. Intelligence and aptitude tests will be conducted to identify areas of excellence and help guide students toward suitable paths.

The Education Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the Ru’ya Foundation and to creating the right environment for discovering and developing student talents, contributing to the advancement of education and the creation of new opportunities for students.
