The Butnan Branch of the Illegal Immigration Agency announced the deportation of 462 irregular Egyptian migrants through the Imsaad land border crossing, as part of preparations for their return to Egypt.
The agency, through its media office, confirmed that deportation operations are conducted daily with the highest levels of discipline and compliance, as part of a comprehensive security plan coordinated with relevant authorities.
The agency added that these efforts are part of intensive field operations to protect Libyan cities and regulate the status of migrants, ensuring enhanced security stability and safeguarding society from potential risks.
Last week, the Butnan branch reported the deportation of 103 irregular Egyptian migrants through the same crossing, noting that deportations are carried out regularly with utmost discipline and readiness, following the completion of all necessary legal procedures.
These steps reflect the Libyan security authorities’ commitment to managing irregular migration and ensuring the country’s security.
