Benghazi – The parliamentary committee began its work on Sunday. It was formed by a House of Representatives resolution. Misbah Douma, the Second Deputy Speaker, chaired the committee. Committee members attended the session. They included Adam Bu Sakhra, Al-Siddiq Hammouda, Zayed Hadiya, Tariq Al-Ashtar, Youssef Al-Ferjani, and Aisha Shellabi.
The committee will communicate with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya. It will also contact the bank’s Board of Directors. All related parties will be involved. This is to investigate the causes of the country’s cash crisis. It will examine liquidity shortages. It will also address exchange rate fluctuations. The committee will work to ensure regular payment of state employee salaries.
The committee affirmed its work. This reflects the House of Representatives’ commitment. They aim to address financial and monetary imbalances. This will help alleviate the economic burden on citizens. It will also achieve financial stability.
