The government of outgoing prime minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh has disbursed this month’s salaries for soldiers based in western Libya, the government-affiliated army announced on Wednesday.
It is noteworthy that Dbeibeh’s government withheld paychecks for soldiers of the eastern-based Libyan National Army (LNA), which has been a point of contention between the government and the parliament.
