Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, held talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the World Government Summit being hosted in Dubai today.

The meeting, as highlighted in a statement from Dbeibeh’s media office, centered on a range of issues concerning bilateral relations and regional developments.

One of the focal points of the talks was a reflection on the outcomes of the previous meeting between Dabaiba and Erdogan, which transpired in Istanbul back in October, according to the statement from the Libyan premier’s office.

During their conversation, the two leaders explored avenues for strengthening economic cooperation between Turkey and Libya, emphasizing the importance of cultivating robust ties in the economic domain. Furthermore, the conversation delved into the intricate intricacies of the Libyan political landscape, with particular attention paid to extending support for international endeavors focused on facilitating elections and bringing an end to the transitional phases in Libya.
