During the visit the delegation will meet the National Oil Corporation (NOC), the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), the Misrata Free Zone (MFZ), Chambers of Commerce, the Libyan Businessmen Council (LBC) and other leading organisations and private companies in the three centres.

On Wednesday, 21st February, the LBBC and BACB will welcome Saddek Elkaber, Governor of the CBL, as keynote speaker at a Conference on Banking, Finance and Infrastructure to be held at the Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli.

Elkaber’s speech will be followed by a panel discussion on ‘Bridging the divide between Libya and the international financial market’. The panel will be chaired by Salim Abukhzaam (BACB) and will include Ali Mahmoud, Chairman of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), the Libyan Foreign Bank (LFB) and Ghassan Attiga (Bank ABC). Delegates will have the opportunity to pose questions from the floor.
