Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, discussed with the Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, Monday, developments of activating the Treaty of Friendship between Libya and Italy, signed in 2008, in addition to a number of common files between the two sides.
Dbeibeh discussed with Meloni ways to continue cooperation between Libya and Italy in files of an economic nature, including those related to oil and gas and intra-trade between the two countries, according to GNU media.
Dbeibeh and Meloni followed up on the developments of activating the friendship treaty concluded between Libya and Italy and supported the efforts made by the committees assigned by the two countries to resume work on the terms of the agreement and implement the projects that Rome had previously committed to in Libya.
