The government of outgoing Libyan premier Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh has failed to improve the economic conditions for the Libyan people due to “lack of tools”, Minister of Economy Muhammad al-Hawij told reporters on Sunday.
Al-Hawij also blamed “foreign and local circumstances” for his ministry’s inability to enhance the economy, adding that it would be “injustice” to judge his ministry’s performance giving these circumstances.
The minister also said that he will only handover power “in manner which is consistent with the law”.
