Delegation from Libyan Military Chiefs to Meet in Benghazi to Discuss Unification and Joint Force Formation

Presidential Council commends Haddad and Nadori meeting in Sirte

A delegation from the Chief of Staff in Tripoli led by Lieutenant-General Muhammad al-Haddad is currently will head today to Benghazi to hold talks with a delegation from the Chief of Staff of the Libyan National Army. The Libyan Army delegation is headed by Lieutenant General Abdel-Razek al-Nadhouri. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss ways to complete the unification of the military institution and its affiliated departments, as well as to form a joint force.

According to an exclusive source, the talks are expected to focus on several key issues related to the unification process. These include the integration of the various military branches and departments, as well as the creation of a single chain of command. The two delegations will also discuss ways to establish a joint force that can effectively address the country’s security challenges.
