The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, received a high-level military delegation from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the General Command headquarters in Benghazi. The delegation was led by Brigadier General Naji Abduljalil Al-Manaseer, Assistant Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Operations and Training, as part of the visit being conducted by the brotherly Jordanian delegation to the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces.
This visit comes within the framework of a series of meetings by the joint committee between the two sides, which is concerned with training and development programs and enhancing the capabilities of the Libyan Armed Forces.
The Deputy Commander-in-Chief welcomed the visiting delegation, conveying the greetings and appreciation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Abul Qasim Haftar, to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar highlighted the distinguished relations between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of strengthening them in various fields to serve the mutual interests of both sides.
