Benghazi – Libyan Armed Forces Deputy Commander Saddam Haftar has expressed his support for all initiatives that promote development, investment, and production. He emphasized the importance of moving forward with strategic projects to build a strong national economy.
His remarks followed the signing of contracts by the National Development Authority to implement the Al-Maqroun Industrial Zone project. In a post on his official Facebook account, Haftar described the industrial zone as an important step in Libya’s reconstruction and development. He said the project would include key sectors such as construction materials, advanced technologies, renewable energy, and chemical and electrical industries. Haftar noted that it would create new jobs and boost the national economy.
He also stressed that these strategic projects are intended to turn different regions of Libya into effective economic centers, both locally and regionally, while strengthening partnerships with friendly nations to serve development goals and the reconstruction of modern Libya.
Haftar reaffirmed continued support for efforts and initiatives that open new economic opportunities, boost reconstruction and development, and help secure a better future for Libya.
