Libyan First Deputy Prime Minister Hussein al-Qatrani discussed with the Greek Ambassador to Libya Ioannis Stamatikos the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Al-Qatrani reviewed the positive role that Greece plays through its membership in the European Union and the United Nations, and its quest to resolve the political dispute in Libya.
The First Deputy explained that through the initiative he launched between the legislative and executive authorities in the country, he wants to bring the views closer, resolve differences between them, and unify the vision on the country’s future.
He stressed that this would be through the adoption of a clear roadmap and a timetable binding on both sides to bring the country to the elections and leave the matter for more than two and a half million voters to choose their authority, whether it is the president or the parliament.
