Libyan journalist Mahmud El-Forjani said the absence of Foreign Minister Najla Mangoush from the Security Council session held today to discuss the situation in Libya “is a fault committed by the National Unity Government headed by Abdel Hamid Dabaiba.”
“The absence of Foreign Minister Najla al-Mangoush from this major event, which is one of her duties as head of Libyan diplomacy, is one of Dbeibah ’s biggest mistakes,” El-Forjani said on Facebook.
“The Dbeibah government does not realize that it is a government for all Libyans and for all parties, and not for one party that thinks it is victorious in the Tripoli war,” Al-Forjani added.
Armed groups in western Libya had criticized the positions of Minister Al-Mangoush and demanded her dismissal after she demanded the removal of “all foreign forces in Libya, including the Turkish forces that are active in the western.”
